Senior Business Analyst
Become a primary liaison between our clients, our product engineering team, and the operations team in a high-growth technology firm based in New Brunswick. Lead the company’s requirement definition & process documentation processes.
Focus Areas
Defining & Documenting Requirements: Equip the product engineering team with the specifications required to build exactly what the customer is looking for.
- Be proficient at extracting, understanding, and articulating clients’ requirements in a way that’s easy for the product engineering team to act upon;
- Work with the product engineering team to define what is required from the clients. Provide these requirements to the clients in a digestible format, then validate the response(s);
- Work with clients to discover potential improvements to our products (new features, bug mitigation, etc.).
Defining & Documenting Processes: Lead the initiative toward having all internal and client-facing processes properly defined, documented, and organized.
- Lead the creation of documentation for current and future state internal processes;
- Identify potential gaps in our existing processes and provide solutions where applicable;
- Identify potential gaps in our existing documentation and provide solutions where applicable;
- Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements;
- Define and manage test cases for new products and changes to existing products;
- Prepare integration plans for product deployments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in related positions.
- Willingness & ability to work with clients, including traveling to their offices as needed. Travel expenses would be covered by Four Eyes.
- Degree or diploma in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study.
- Highly technical & analytical, experienced with implementing complex software solutions.
- Quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop thoughtful & actionable business cases.
- Demonstrated ability to perform with significant responsibility in a dynamic environment where decisions are made rapidly.
- Experience working with Data-driven Applications in a Cloud environment.
- Experience working with clients and developers to define, scope and prioritize product requirements.
- Ability to lead junior analysts and support them with their deliverables
