Four Eyes is a high-growth software company based in New Brunswick, looking to welcome an ambitious Release Manager to the product engineering team. The successful candidate will manage release preparation and delivery, focusing on the people and processes that result in smooth, high quality deployments.

Focus Areas
Release Management: Ensure high quality releases are deployed on time and meet client expectations.
- Supervise QA, Code Review and SQL Review teams, ensuring their capacity meets the release needs;
- Prepare and manage deployment checklists/process;
- Facilitate UAT & Prod releases;
- Manage release fixes.
Resource Planning: Anticipate release bottlenecks and reallocate resources to manage process capacity.
- Manage process indicator (PI) metrics to track each step of the release and expected completion dates;
- Leverage process indicators to proactively plan and move resources to prevent bottlenecks;
- Work with QA team lead and senior developers to implement resource allocation decisions.
Team Alignment: Communicate release progress, risks, bugs and completion to all internal stakeholders.
- Use PIs & KPIs to communicate release progress, bottlenecks & risks;
- Facilitate decision making, bringing the right people together at the right time;
- Enacting decision making based on metrics & SME input. Ensure alignment on path forward.
Process Improvement: Champion continuous improvement of the release process.
- Find opportunities to improve the release process and suggest/implement changes;
- Focus on improvements that prioritize deployment quality and achieving cutoff dates.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in an area related to engineering or computer science.
- Experienced in managing software releases, or similar delivery processes.
